Description
of Duties: Responsible for the operation, maintenance, testing and repair of UPW and WWT systems to meet the required standards of purity, quality, and facility performance; participation in the development of equipment start-up, shut-down, and preventative maintenance tasks and procedures; customer satisfaction and support; conducting work in an independent manner; and the ability to earn and maintain membership and certification in the Emergency Response Team. Minimum Qualifications: The position requires: an Associate’s Degree in Engineering or related field from a College or University accredited by the USDOE or an internationally recognized accrediting organization, and 5+ years experience in UPW and WWT operations, OR 10 years UPW and WWT operational experience with technical training; general understanding of all related disciplines such as device performance, electrical, chemical and waste handling, reporting and control systems. Ability to pass a physical and fit test to earn and maintain membership and certification in the Emergency Response Team required. Good communication skills and proficient use of Microsoft Office and Maintenance Management Programs. Preferred Qualifications: |
