Description of Duties:

The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CSNE, http://cnse.albany.edu/) is seeking applicants for the position of front-end process integration manager to work in its 300mm semiconductor development facilities. The successful applicant will manage a group of front-end integration engineers and work closely with engineering to develop and implement 32nm and beyond Front-End semiconductor process technologies.

Manage the integration team development activities including: recipe development and transfer, module development and improving module performance. Provide process integration solutions and guide a group of senior integration engineers. Demonstrate proficiency in experimental design and statistical analysis. Working knowledge of process capabilities required to build advanced CMOS devices is essential for this position. Must posses advanced knowledge of CMOS device performance and characteristics.

Qualifications:

M.S., Ph.D. or equivalent experience in an Engineering and/or Science discipline such as Materials Science and/or Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biochemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics and Chemistry from a college or university accredited by the USDOE or internationally recognized accrediting organization with at least 5 years of semiconductor industry experience. Previous Integration experience is a plus.

Must demonstrate strong leadership skills as well as the ability to influence others and act as a role model. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. CNSE is a multi-client, consortium environment, and the successful individual must demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment is a must.
