Description
of Duties: The
Secretary II position will serve grant funded programs in the University at Minimum Qualifications: AAS
Degree or equivalent experience, a minimum of three years of progressively
responsible experience in an administrative support role, a working knowledge
of word-processing and presentation preparation (Word and PowerPoint),
familiarity with use of the Internet, and a demonstrated ability to work in a
high energy, team oriented environment required. The candidate should
also possess exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work with a
culturally diverse group of people. Preferred Qualifications: Experience coordinating multiple priorities, including outside vendors, clients, and funding sources. Experience with human resources personnel and purchasing procedures. Must be able to function in a high volume environment with tact and diplomacy. Experience coordinating travel and event organization. Note: Position is contingent upon
continued funding. |
