Description of Duties:  The Center for Human Services Research is seeking an Evaluation Coordinator to coordinate and oversee data collection for a national evaluation of a program to serve children and youth with mental health issues and their families in Orange County, New York.  Responsibilities include supervising field data collectors, tracking longitudinal data collection, implementing data quality assurance measures, and data management.  The Evaluation Coordinator will also conduct field interviews with families.  The Evaluation Coordinator reports directly to the Principal Investigator, located at the Center for Human Services Research in Albany, NY.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by a USDOE recognized organization in social sciences, social welfare, public health, sociology, education or related areas.
  2. Experience with data collection including tracking cases and data management.
  3. Experience in a direct supervisory or leadership role.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on a team.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication and computer skills.
  6. Demonstrated ability to work with a culturally diverse population.
  7. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and evenings.
  8. Must have reliable transportation and be NYS driver’s license eligible.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Knowledge of or experience with children and youth with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges and their families.
  2. Knowledge or experience with human service delivery systems.
  3. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
