NYS Agencies in Partnership for Training (APT)
APT workshops are primarily designed for managers and supervisors, regardless of bargaining unit affiliation. Courses typically cover the Challenges in Supervision curriculum, although more agency specific training may be offered from time to time.
Courses are usually one to five days in length. They are held during normal business hours, and you may be granted release time to attend, subject to your supervisor's approval. There is no cost.
Course information is distributed through fliers and e-mail from the Human
Resource Office. If you would like to be added to the mailing list,
please contact Lynne Shultis of the
Employee Relations Office at
lshultis@uamail.albany.edu or call 437-4700.
Space is limited to 2 SUNY seats per class. SUNY seats are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, so early enrollment is recommended. To apply for a course, follow the e-mail or flier directions. Selected applicants will receive an e-mail or written response prior to the class date.
