Labor-Management Committees (LMC)

LMC workshops offer free on-site training to groups of 25 or more CSEA-represented and M/C designated employees in the OSU and ISU bargaining units.

There are over 60 standard workshop topics and topics may be customized to University requirements. Generally, topics fall within 5 subject areas: Labor-Management contract issues; Job Skills and Development; Personal Development; and Health and Safety. A complete listing of courses can be obtained from the Human Resources Office, UAB Room 300.

Labor and Management representatives complete an application form requesting training. If a customized training session is required, an LMC staff member will meet with you to review needs. Once the plan has been reviewed an approved by CSEA and management, the plan will be developed and delivered. An evaluation of training effectiveness will be done 3-6 months following completion of the training.
