Training

Work Force Initiatives (WFI)

The WFI training grants are provided through joint labor-management agreements between GOER, CSEA, and PEF. This program allows agency's the flexibility to develop customized, training programs not offered through other training programs .

All projects funded by the WFI program require the involvement of agency union and management representatives throughout the planning, implementation and evaluation process. Multi-agency initiatives are permitted and encouraged.

Agency staff and labor representatives may make a request for a WFI application. A separate application must be completed for each grant proposal. Proposals are reviewed on a monthly basis and are assigned by staff from GOER, CSEA, and PEF on a first-come-first-served basis.
