QUALIFICATIONS

Social Work and Practice Research:
The School of Social Welfare at the University at Albany seeks to fill two (2) tenure-track positions at the assistant professor level. We seek individuals with interest in research on social work interventions with children and families, health, mental health or aging. The faculty members are expected to collaborate with the School’s Practice Research Center, which is affiliated with the Center for Human Services Research, and teach in the School’s baccalaureate, M.S.W. or doctoral programs.

Applicants must have an M.S.W. degree, two years or more of full-time post M.S.W. practice experience, and a doctoral degree, in hand or close to completion, from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization. Applicants must show commitment to excellence in scholarship, teaching, and service and address in the application their abilities to work within a culturally diverse environment and to prepare students to work effectively in a world of increasing diversity.
