The Department of Physics
seeks applicants with expertise in the application of computational methods
to biophysical problems for a tenure track Assistant Professor position
starting in Fall 2008. Requirements
include a P.D. and demonstrated scholarly productivity. A Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD must be from a
college or university accredited by a US Department of Education or
internationally recognized accrediting organization. The successful candidate will be expected
to be committed to teaching and to develop an active research program. As part of the University’s initiative in
the life sciences, collaborative opportunities exist within the Physics
Department and with faculty in Chemistry, Biology, Information Science,
Nanoscience, and Wadsworth Laboratory of the NYS Department of Health. Applicants must address in their application
their abilities to work with and instruct a culturally diverse population. |
