QUALIFICATIONS

University at Albany, State University of New York, Department of Accounting invites applications for one tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level starting September 2009, subject to budgetary approval.

The candidates should have a doctoral degree or be ABD in Accounting. All degrees must come from a college or university accredited by the US DOE or internationally recognized accrediting organization.  The candidate must have strong research and teaching interest in Auditing Assurance and/or Forensic related areas.  Evidence of a strong commitment to scholarly research and excellence in teaching, and a demonstrated ability to work with and/or instruct diverse groups of people is required.   CPA and/or professional experience is highly desirable.
