The Department of Public Administration & Policy, Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, University at Albany, SUNY seeks a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in the area of applied Public Economics with research and teaching interests in one or more of the following areas:  public finance, local public finance; health policy; educational policy; or welfare policy and poverty.

Ability to contribute to more than one of the listed research and teaching areas, or other areas such as behavioral economics, experimental economics, the economics of organizations, financial market regulation, or econometrics is advantageous.  The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Economics and will have strong teaching and research skills. Degree must be from a college or university accredited by a US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.  Experience in the practice of policy analysis is preferred but not required.
