QUALIFICATIONS

University at Albany, State University of New York, Department of Accounting invites applications for one tenure-track position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level starting September 2009, subject to budgetary approval.

The candidates should have a doctoral degree or be ABD in Accounting.  Degree must be from a university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.  The candidate must have strong research and teaching interests in Auditing, Assurance and/or Forensic related areas.  Evidence of a strong commitment to scholarly research and excellence in teaching, and a demonstrated ability to work with and/or instruct diverse groups of people is required.   CPA and/or professional experience is highly desirable.

SALARY:

$125,000
