X-ray staff crystallography
core technician for the Life Sciences Research Program in the |

|
Qualifications: |
|||||
|
Required: A Ph.D. degree
in a scientific or engineering field with at least 5 years of experience in
the field of X-ray Crystallography. All degrees must be from a college or
university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or internationally
recognized accrediting organization. Practical experience with X-ray data
collection, processing, and analysis for both single crystal and powder data
will be required. Must have demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair X-ray
equipment. Must be able to work closely with academic researchers in a
scientific laboratory environment to provide technical and scientific
expertise, including preparation of materials for publication. Knowledge of
modern crystallographic software and databases is required. Good verbal and
written communication skills to work with large multidisciplinary teams and
ability to work with culturally diverse populations are also required. |
