Brief description of duties: |

|
The Directory Manager has
the overall responsibility for ensuring the effective, efficient, customer
oriented, accurate and orderly functioning of the University switchboard
operation. This includes but is not
limited to maintaining and updating associated databases and reference
materials. The Directory Manager is
the liaison between the University community and the University
switchboard. This position also
includes project management of the University’s annual printed campus
directory and project management for the Verizon white and yellow page
listings for the University. The
Directory Manager is also the University contact for the voice recognition
system and is responsible to review and analyze reports monthly. The Directory Manager is responsible to
manage, supervise, train and assign work to switchboard operators, staff and
students that cover the switchboard.
The Directory Manager is also responsible to plan and execute the
switchboard disaster recovery plan for such an event. |
