Brief description of duties: |

|
The
successful candidate will provide analytical and programming support in the University's
administrative applications, including the Blackboard Learning System CE
Enterprise (WebCT) and the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions /HR system. The
University is upgrading WebCT from version 4.1 to Campus Edition 6. In
addition, the University is upgrading from PeopleSoft Campus Solutions/HR 8.0
to 8.9. This position will be primarily responsible for the application
support of WebCT. S/he will be
responsible for assisting in the data migration from 4.1 to CE 6 as well as
providing Tier 2/3 support for the users and coordinating application updates
and patches to CE 6. In addition, s/he will be responsible for the
integration between WebCT and PeopleSoft Student Records. Secondarily to
WebCT support, this position will also provide support for the PeopleSoft
Campus Solutions modules and the University’s custom additions to the
software, as time permits. |

Qualifications: |
|||||
|
Required: ·
A
Bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by a US Dept. of
Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization is required. ·
Minimum of 2 years of professional
work experience in analysis and programming in large-scale course management
and/or student administration systems on a Unix platform. ·
Experience with the use of SQL database
such as ORACLE ·
Applicants

Excellent interpersonal skills are
required, as well as the ability to communicate effectively. ·
The individual must demonstrate
ability to share experiences in the organization and ability of working
independently and/or as part of a team with tight deadlines. Preferred: ·
Experience with either WebCT or
Blackboard ·
Experience
with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and the PeopleSoft programming tools such as
SQR and PeopleTools. |

range: $48,000 - $50,000 commensurate
