|
The
University at Albany Division of Student Success invites applications for the
position of Assistant Director of Student Involvement & Leadership. As a
key member of the Student Involvement staff, the Assistant Director helps to
develop, implement, and evaluate a variety of campus activities and events
designed to help meet the social, intellectual, and recreational needs of a
diverse student community, including coordination of the late-night
programming initiative Danes After Dark. The Assistant Director serves as an
advisor, consultant, and general resource for a broad range of student groups
and organizations as well as individual students. Other Office of Student
Involvement & Leadership duties as assigned. |

Qualifications: |
||||
|
A
Bachelor's Degree from a college or university accredited by a US Department
of Education (DOE) or internationally recognized accrediting organization. Preferred candidates will have a
master's degree in student personnel, counseling, or a related field with a
recommended 1-3 years experience at the college level advising, planning, and
coordinating student social/recreational programs and special events. Applicants will demonstrate effective
communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills;
an ability to work well with students with diverse interests, backgrounds,
and cultures; and ability to multitask and work under pressure in a
fast-paced environment. Applicants
